Does This Sound Like you

🌿
It’s Easier to Stay in My Room
Because at least in there, I don’t get yelled at or misunderstood.

🌺
I Don’t Fit Anywhere
School, work, sports, family, friends — I can’t breathe under the pressure.

🌺
It’s All Too Much
I’m either too much, too quiet, or just not right for the group. I'm not good enough.

🌱
I Don’t Have Anyone to Talk To
People either give advice I didn’t ask for, or act like I’m just being dramatic.

🏠No One Actually Notices
I show up. I smile. But no one asks what’s really going on with me., even when I cry...

What Makes This Different
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken. You’re not too much.
You’re overwhelmed—and you’ve had to hold too much on your own.
This is your space to put it down for a while. Heal. Learn. Grow.
My Approach Is:
-
Emotionally intelligent and trauma-informed
-
Grounded in both Western psychology and te ao Māori
-
Focused on practical next steps, not overwhelming talk
-
Built on mutual respect, not top-down teaching
-
Inclusive of whānau without removing youth autonomy
-
This isn’t one-size-fits-all — we look at who you are, where you’ve come from, and what matters most to you.
Trauma Informed
You won’t be treated like a problem to fix — I work with care, curiosity and safety so you feel in control of your own story.
Te Ao Maori + Western Blend
We blend indigenous wisdom with proven psychology tools, so your healing makes sense in both your heart and your head.
Identity Based
This isn’t one-size-fits-all — we look at who you are, where you’ve come from, and what matters most to you.

🪞
Identity-Based
You're not lost — you’re learning how to be yourself. We work on who you are, not just what you do. You’ll explore your values, whakapapa, and strengths, so you can stand solid in who you are — even when everything around you feels messy.
For māmā: When your teen understands their identity, they make stronger choices, communicate better, and feel less anxious trying to be someone they’re not.

🌿
Te Ao Māori + Western Psychology
You're not here to fit a mould — you’re here to understand your way of being. We work with both wairua and science. We use kōrero, metaphors, and practical tools to help you heal and grow, not feel broken or diagnosed. It’s not therapy that talks down to you. It’s support that walks with you.
For māmā: This approach combines clinically sound practices with indigenous values of whanaungatanga, aroha and restoration. It’s not a cookie-cutter method — it’s a culturally respectful and spiritually aligned experience.
🧠
Trauma Informed
We go at your pace, and you don’t have to explain your feelings away. If it’s hard to talk, that’s okay — I’m here to help you feel safe, not judged. This is a space where your emotions, your silence, your anger, and your softness all belong. You don’t have to carry it alone anymore.
For māmā: Sessions are grounded in emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and protecting their mana. No re-traumatising. Just care, clarity, and connection.
Why Youth & Whānau Choose This Coaching
✔ It's difficult for whanau to listen without 'feeling' things personally
✔They don’t feel heard, and are tired of bottling things up
✔ They want tools to manage stress, not just be told to “calm down”
✔ They need space away from family tension to think and feel clearly
✔ They crave connection, but don’t know how to ask for it
✔ You, as a parent, know something deeper is going on, and want to get them real support
Your child isn’t just being difficult. They’re doing the best they can with what they’ve got.
But they need a safe space—outside of you—where they can unpack the pressure, confusion, and emotional overwhelm they don’t know how to explain at home. It's not personal, it's develomental.
